What TriVetted is
TriVetted is a directory that helps consumers find and evaluate local businesses in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We verify certain facts — like license registrations — against official sources at a point in time, and we say when and where we checked. We are not a party to any transaction between you and a listed business, and we don't guarantee any business's work.
Verification is a snapshot
A "license verified" badge means the named registry showed the business in good standing on the date shown. Licenses can lapse or be revoked afterward. Registration or licensure is not a government endorsement of competency. Always confirm current status for significant projects — every badge names the registry so you can.
Reviews and submissions
Content you submit — reviews, photos, claims — must be truthful, based on your own experience, and yours to share. We may decline or remove content that is fake, defamatory, or unrelated to a real customer experience. By submitting content you give us a non-exclusive license to display it on the site.
Business listings
Claiming a listing requires that you are authorized to represent the business. Paid tiers buy verification work and labeled placement only; they never change rankings or reviews, and we may end a paid placement that violates our editorial policy.
Paid plans
Verified ($29/month or $290/year) and Featured ($99/month or $990/year) are recurring subscriptions billed through Wix Payments until canceled. Featured placement is limited to three businesses per category per county; when slots are full you may join a waitlist. Cancellation stops renewal and the plan's benefits end at the close of the paid period — Featured placement lapses automatically on its end date. Paid plans buy verification work and labeled placement only: they never change organic rankings, reviews, or badge outcomes, and a failed license check is not refundable as such — the badge simply isn't granted until the registry shows good standing. We may end a placement that violates the editorial policy, with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TriVetted is not liable for the acts, omissions, or work quality of any listed business, or for decisions you make based on directory content. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
